Creating open Ateliers beyond a traditional classroom setting
Opupa Atelier is an upcoming creative community where we aim to design meaningful pop-up play, sensory or experiential ateliers for children and families at different parts of Singapore. Inspired by young children’s multiple ways of discovering, experimenting and expressing, we design process-based encounters where children are invited to interact with the multiple possibilities of materials and interactive spaces.
At the heart of Opupa is a belief that learning grows through building and nurturing relationships—between children and materials, families and communities, ideas and places, our various cultures, belongings and our lived experiences.
We see children and families as capable researchers, artists, storytellers and meaning-makers where our experiences can open new possibilities for everyone around them.
